Running a solo tabletop-style campaign on Chazz.ai: a persistent world with places, factions and a cast that remembers you, compound actions, and consequences that survive between sessions.
Chazz.ai campaign mode runs a persistent world for solo tabletop-style play: a map with places you can return to, factions and non-player characters who remember you, compound actions that resolve as the several things they are, and consequences that are still true next session.
What it handles well
- A world that exists before you arrive and continues without you.
- Non-player characters with their own conversational branch, so talking to the innkeeper is a conversation rather than a summary.
- Compound actions. "Search the room, then take the corridor" resolves as both.
- Persistent consequence. What you broke stays broken, and the people who saw you break it remember.
What it does not handle
It does not adjudicate a rules system. There is no character sheet it enforces, no initiative order it holds you to, and nothing stopping you doing something your build could not do. Bring a system if you want one and treat this as the world and the cast, not the referee.
Put the rules you want honoured in a lore pack and a modifier. That is not the same as enforcement, but a stated constraint is followed far more often than an implied one.
Questions
