Status · Chazz.ai
Chazz.ai service status: how to tell whether an outage is us or you, what a maintenance window looks like, where incidents are reported, and how to reach a human when something is broken.
Chazz.ai reports its own state in the app: a planned maintenance window shows a full-screen notice, and a partial degradation shows a banner naming what is affected. If the site loads and neither is showing, the service believes it is healthy, and anything you are seeing is worth reporting to [email protected].
How the site tells you
- Full-screen maintenance notice: A planned window. The API is refusing work deliberately and will retry-after. Nothing is lost; come back when it clears.
- Banner across the top: A partial degradation, naming what is affected. The rest of the site is working.
- Nothing showing, but something is wrong: The service believes it is healthy and is not. That is the most useful kind of report we can get. Send it to [email protected] or through the in-app help dock, which attaches the page and the last error automatically.
Is it me or is it them?
- Hard-reload the page. A stale service worker after a deploy is the single most common cause of "the site is broken for me only".
- Try a private window. That isolates an extension or a cached bundle.
- Check a second network. A blocked domain on one network looks exactly like an outage.
- If it is still wrong, report it. Two reports of one outage cost us nothing; a silent outage costs everybody.
Model availability
Individual AI models can be unavailable while everything else is fine, because they are third-party services with their own outages. When one is down, it is marked in the model picker and requests route to a working model rather than failing, and a routed turn is billed at the price of the model that actually ran.
Planned maintenance
Announced in the app ahead of time where the work is planned. Deploys themselves do not need a window and do not interrupt a conversation in progress.
Incident history
Material incidents affecting availability or data are written up in the changelog with a date, rather than disappearing once fixed.
Questions
- Is Chazz.ai down?
- The app reports its own state: a full-screen notice means planned maintenance, a banner means partial degradation. If the site loads with neither, it believes it is healthy, and anything wrong is worth reporting.
- Why is a model unavailable?
- Models are third-party services with their own outages. An unavailable model is marked in the picker and requests route to a working one, billed at the price of the model that actually ran.
