Language practice · Chazz.ai
Using Chazz.ai for language practice: conversation with a character in the language you are learning, at a level you set, with memory of what you struggled with last time.
A Chazz.ai character can hold a conversation in the language you are learning at a level you set, remember what you found hard last session, and stay in the situation rather than falling back into a lesson. It is practice, not a course, and it does not replace one.
The setup
- Build a character who speaks the target language and give them a reason to be talking to you: a shopkeeper, a colleague, a neighbour.
- Use a modifier to pin the level: vocabulary range, sentence length, whether to correct you and how.
- Use a persona to say who you are and what you are trying to do, so the character can pitch to it.
What memory adds
Because memory persists, the character can know that you have been avoiding the past tense for three sessions and steer toward it. That is the thing a fresh chat window cannot do.
This is conversational practice with a language model, and a language model can be confidently wrong about grammar and usage. Treat corrections as a prompt to check, not as an authority. Chazz.ai is not a language course and does not claim to be one.
Questions
