Chazz.ai narrates long-form fiction with a separate voice for each character and word-level timing, so the text highlights as it plays. Audio is generated per segment, so editing one paragraph costs one paragraph rather than the whole story.

Why per-segment matters

Anything that renders a whole story as one audio file makes editing prohibitive: change a sentence and you pay to narrate the book again. Segments are rendered and cached individually and addressed by content, so a rewritten paragraph regenerates alone and everything untouched is a cache hit.

Attribution

Dialogue is attributed to the character who speaks it before anything is rendered, which is what puts the right voice on the right line. Narration keeps its own voice. Both are editable per segment when the attribution guesses wrong.
