Safety, labelling and moderation · Chazz.ai

Chazz.ai runs a classifier on every turn with an auditable record of each block, marks every AI output so it can be identified later, and gates mature material behind age verification and region rules.

Chazz.ai screens every turn with a classifier rather than a keyword list, writes an auditable record of every block, marks all generated text, images and audio so they can be identified later, and puts mature material behind age verification and region gating.

Labelling

Text, images and audio generated here carry markings that survive ordinary handling, in line with EU AI Act Article 50. The detector at /ai-transparency checks any file for them. It is free, needs no account, and works on files this service did not produce, which is the property that makes it worth anything: a detector only you can run is a claim, not a check.

Moderation

  • Every turn is classified. A keyword list would be cheaper and would block ordinary English while missing the thing it was built for.
  • Every block is written to a record with the score that caused it, so a wrong decision can be found and argued with rather than shrugged at.
  • Ratings are assigned per item and cannot be silently downgraded once set.

Who sees what

Mature material sits behind age verification and region gating. A reader who is not cleared for something is steered away in character rather than shown a refusal notice, because a refusal notice in the middle of a scene tells you nothing and breaks the thing you were doing.

What a signed-out guest may reach is a published policy rather than an accident of the code. It is one registry, and unknown capabilities default to allowed.

The standards this answers to

Article 50(2) applies from 2 December 2026. The marking and the detector are already live rather than scheduled, which is the part worth knowing: a compliance date is a deadline, not a feature.

  • Generated content is marked: EU AI Act Article 50, transparency for AI-generated content: /ai-transparency
  • A free, public detector exists: The associated EU Code of Practice, which requires the detection mechanism be reachable without an account: /ai-transparency
  • Image and audio markings are interoperable: IPTC digitalsourcetype, the term other tools already read: The file metadata itself
  • Personal information handling: Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), Australian Privacy Principles: /privacy
  • Vulnerability disclosure: RFC 9116: /.well-known/security.txt
  • The privacy signal: Global Privacy Control: /.well-known/gpc.json

Your writing

Conversations are encrypted at rest under per-owner keys, and session replay never runs inside a chat. Nothing typed into a conversation can re-author the character, which stops the oldest injection trick in this product category. The rest is on the security page and the privacy policy.
