A scenario is the frame around a conversation. It says where you are, what is going on, and how it feels, without saying who is in it, so the same scenario can be replayed with different casts.
Fields
- Name: Required.
- Description: Required. The short pitch shown on the card.
- Context / Premise: Required. The actual situation the model is told about.
- Location: Where it takes place.
- Atmosphere: The mood.
- Greeting Override: Replaces the character's own greeting for this scenario.
- Icon / Image: Card art.
- Max Characters: How many characters this scenario supports.
- Modifiers / Lore Packs: Applied automatically whenever this scenario is used.
- Tags · Public: Catalogue metadata and publication.
The opening beat
A scenario chat opens with a scene-set: narration that establishes the situation before anyone speaks. It is attributed to the scenario itself rather than to any character in the cast, and the chat renders it under the scenario's name.
If you leave the greeting override empty, the opening is generated from the premise instead of using a canned line, so it lands inside the scene you actually wrote.
Write the premise in the present tense and from nobody's point of view. "The tram has been stopped for forty minutes and nobody has said why" gives the engine more to work with than "You are on a tram."
