What a paid plan changes, and where the live prices actually come from.
There are four tiers: Free, Lite, Premium and Ultimate. A plan gives you a monthly credit allotment plus entitlements.
Plan prices and monthly credit amounts are not stored in this app. The Store fetches the live catalogue from the shared platform at page load, so what you see there is authoritative. If the catalogue cannot be reached, the page says subscriptions are temporarily unavailable rather than showing stale numbers.
What a plan changes
The message allowances above come from shared/constants.ts:909 (MESSAGE_LIMITS). The in-repo credit figures (Lite 200, Premium 2,000, Ultimate 6,000) are defaults and mirrors (shared/constants.ts:582 and shared/constants.ts:22-23); the live catalogue is what actually bills.
- Monthly credits: Added to your wallet when the invoice is paid, not at checkout.
- Premium models: Premium and Ultimate unlock the premium tier of the model picker. See Choosing a model.
- Director and evolution: Both surcharges are waived on Premium and Ultimate. See The director and World toggles.
- Two-character director: A cast of exactly two only gets the director on Premium or Ultimate.

- Daily message allowance: Free 50 · Lite 100 · Premium 300 · Ultimate 750.
Managing it
Manage Subscription appears on both Store and Settings once you are on a paid tier, and opens the payment provider's billing portal where you can change or cancel.
Monthly credits arrive when the subscription invoice is actually paid. A failed payment means no allotment that month, even though the plan still shows as active until it lapses.
