A roleplay platform built around characters that remember, worlds that keep moving, and content you can build yourself.
chazz.ai is a roleplay platform. You talk to AI characters, and the conversation keeps state: characters remember what happened, the scene has a location and a clock, and, if you turn it on, the world keeps moving between your messages.
Everything you interact with is made of four building blocks, and you can create all four yourself:
- Character: Who you are talking to. Name, description, greeting, personality, voice. See Characters.
- Scenario: The situation the conversation starts in: premise, location, atmosphere, and optionally an opening line. See Scenarios.
- Modifier: A reusable slice of instruction stacked on top, for tone or rules. See Modifiers.
- Lore pack: Background facts that get injected only when the conversation touches them. See Lore packs.
The main surfaces
- Explore: Browse and filter every public character, scenario, modifier and lore pack.
- Chats: Your saved conversations.
- Customize: Build a character, scenario or modifier.
- Library: Everything you made, plus everything you saved from Explore.
- Images: A community gallery, a text-to-image generator, and your own image library.
- Stories: Long-form narrated pieces you can read, listen to, or generate.
- Multiplayer: A shared room where several people talk to one character.
- Campaign: A persistent, procedurally generated world played as a text adventure.
- Turing Test: A timed scene with a stranger who may or may not be a person.
- Store: Credits and plans.
- Settings: Your account defaults for every new chat, plus privacy and safety controls.
Two things worth knowing up front
If you just want to start: open Explore, tap a character, and send a message. Nothing you do there affects your saved conversations until you actually reply.
- Almost everything is priced in credits (CGC). Free models genuinely cost nothing at default settings. See How credits work.
- Your Settings page holds defaults, not rules. Every conversation can override any of them from its own settings panel. See How settings are resolved.
