Customize is where you build things. It has four tabs (Character, Scenario, Modifier and Persona) and doubles as the editor: opening an existing item hides the tab strip and shows what you are editing instead.
The Persona tab builds YOU rather than something you publish. It has the same boxes a character card has, it is always private, and it saves back to wherever you opened it from. See Personas: who you are.
Lore packs are not made here. They have their own editor, reached from the Lore Packs tab of your Library. See Lore packs.
Saving
- Saving a new character takes you straight into a chat with them.
- Each tab keeps its own required fields, and the save button stays disabled until they are filled.
- Everything you create starts as yours and private unless you turn on the public switch.
Images
Image generation is 25 CGC. Source: worker/src/pricing.ts:122 (IMAGE_GENERATION_COST), mirrored at shared/constants.ts:945. Upload limit: web/src/views/user/Customize.tsx:239.
- Upload: Drop or pick a file. Maximum 5 MB, images only.
- Generate: Generate an image for the item. Only offered when editing an existing item, not while creating one.
- Copyright confirmation: Uploading requires ticking a box confirming you own the image or have permission to use it.
Generating a draft with AI
From your Library you can ask for a generated draft rather than starting from an empty form. Two flavours exist, and the advertised prices differ:
Creating anything needs a registered account. A guest who opens this page gets a sign-in prompt.
- Character: 8 CGC: 15 CGC
- Scenario: 5 CGC: 8 CGC
- Modifier: 5 CGC: 8 CGC
